Ahhh spring time… it means flowers blooming, warmer weather and of course, cleaning! Even though we technically have a few more weeks until spring begins, it’s a good time to set aside a day to deep clean your car. The winter months can be especially tough on your car, so it’s a good idea to get out the dirt and grime that’s been accumulating.

We’ve got a lot of tips of what you can do to make your car look spotless, and today we want to share them with you because no one wants to see dirty cars on the road. So, feel to use one or all of these tips and let us know how they worked!

Get Rid of All that Pet Hair with a Squeegee and a Spray Bottle

If you’re anything like us, you love taking your pets for a ride. The only problem is their fur can get everywhere, especially in the material in the backseat. An ordinary squeegee can be used with a spray bottle of water to rid your interior of all that pet hair that has found its way into the seats. Anyone with allergies that sits in your car will thank you.

Clean Your Floor Mats By Running Them Through the Washer
There’s a whole lot of dirt, sand, dust, and crumbs that make their home in your car’s floor mats. Sometimes, you need more than just a quick vacuum to really get that space clean. Luckily, in most cases, you are more than likely able to put your floor mats in the washing machine! It works even better if you spray some stain remover on the floor mats before dumping them right in. Consult your owner’s manual or Google if you have questions on if your mat can be washed.

A Brush and a Duster Go a Long Ways
The only way to know just how much dirt and dust have been building up in your car is to start wiping it off. You can use any duster or brush; even a cheap, foam paint brush can do the trick. The key is to reach every crevice, especially the A/C vents because that is how much of the dirt can be spread. It helps if you follow the dusting off with a thorough vacuum to rid your car of all that’s built up.

The Magic Eraser is Your Best Friend
If you’ve ever used the Magic Eraser while cleaning stains inside your house, then you know just how effective this little tool is. The good news is, it works in your car just as well as in your home. Use it on any spills on the vinyl and leather seats, or floor mats. Read the directions on the Magic Eraser to make sure you are using it properly and get ready to finally say goodbye to those unsightly stains.
